Propensity for Pomegranates

I've recently discovered the novelty of pomegranates.

Not only are they unique in their formation, attractive, and very photogenic; they are also really very good for you!

They are very high in antioxidants.  Which means they help you fight cancer, and they fight clots in your bloodstream.  I was also reading about the fruits benefit for your skin!  (We could ALL use a little of that, right?)

When first I held a pomegranate, poised to dive in, I wasn't entirely certain how to go about it.  Therefore, I was forced to search Google. Here is where I found some great instructions.

Now you have no excuse for not trying one yourself!

See?  I said they were photogenic.  (Well, the seeds anyway.)

  1. I love pomegranates! I buy one every now and then even though they're a little pricey. I just love to peel the seeds out of the membranes...something so therapeutic about that. I just eat the seeds plain with a bit of sugar...do you have any other yummy ideas for how to use them? Great photo too!
